Southwest Self Storage was formed in 2003 with one specific goal: to own and operate self storage facilities. Our management team is experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated to maximizing the performance of the properties we manage. As an owner as well as a manager, we treat every property as if it were our own. We strive to help you achieve and exceed your goals for each property. We are committed to operating your property both professionally and efficiently.
Our team has been involved with the ownership, management, and development of over 30 self storage facilities located in California, Colorado, and Arizona. Southwest Self Storage is a family owned business and is recognized as an established and experienced consultant in management and real estate. Southwest Self Storage has originated, placed loans and put together joint ventures with life insurance companies, savings and loan associations, pension funds, as well as securitized financing.
While we specialize in the professional management of storage properties, we are also able to aid in expanding your property, securing financing, managing capital improvements, lease up, and even preparation for a sale.

In developing self storage facilities, Southwest Self Storage has developed over 500,000 square feet of self storage space; our feeling is that a self-storage facility should architecturally fit within the area in which it is being constructed. Our project in San Marcos is considered our prototype facility. San Marcos was architecturally designed with Spanish tile roofs, wrought iron, wood and various stucco pop outs to conform to the Mediterranean/Spanish theme in San Marcos. Such was also the case with our Riverside and Yuma properties. We work with experienced design teams to capture the architectural spirit of the area
